Lessons and Clinic Information

 

Private Lessons:  I've been teaching privately for over 15 years, and have experience teaching privately through such institutions as Manhattan School of Music and the University of Washington. Generally, I teach intermediate to advanced trombone lessons, as well as composition and arranging.  While I do have a set of rates for 45 minute and 60 minute lessons, I am very flexible with regards to individual needs. Feel free to call me at (718) 316-0220 to discuss lesson possibilities.  For students wishing to set up regular lessons, the first lesson is given free of charge.

School or Festival Clinics:  As an educator, I've also served as a clinician in a variety of environments, from Carnegie Hall and Benaroya Hall to Starbucks Corporate Headquarters and Harlem PS 185, as well as many jazz festivals and workshops in the United States and abroad.  I am happy to serve as a clinician regarding any one of a number of subjects: big bands to small groups, issues around trombone performance, programming, job skills in the music world, composing and arranging, and many more.
